Position: Researcher I: One full-time, term, professional researcher position with the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Cooperative Wildlife Research Laboratory.

Qualifications: B.S. in Environmental Resource, Environmental Science, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry. Prior knowledge and experience in analytical instruments, including gas chromatography – mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography – tandem mass spectrometry, accelerated solvent extraction, and gel permeation or size-exclusion chromatography. Applicants with expertise in indoor air and dust collection and treatments will be given preference.

Duties: Including, but not limited to: Conducting indoor air and dust collection; sample analysis for organic contaminants; instrumental performance and maintenance; quality control and assurance procedures; data organization and analysis.
