The University Honors Program at SIU Carbondale seeks applicants for one or more term, non-tenure- track lecturer positions for Spring 2017 semester and/or Fall 2017 semester, contingent upon available

Requirements: Applicants must submit a proposal for an honors course to be taught in Spring 2017 and/or Fall 2017. Information about the format for the course proposal can be found at: http://honors.siu.edu/_common/documents/UHON%20351%20Proposal.pdf. Selection of course proposals will be based upon programmatic need and the quality of the proposal. Preference will be given to proposals for honors courses that can substitute for University Core Curriculum Requirements. Applicants must hold, at minimum, a Master's degree in an academic discipline that is relevant for teaching of the applicant's proposed course.

Effective Date of Employment:
Positions may be available for Spring 2017, with January 1, 2017 start, and/or Fall 2017, with August 16, 2017 start.
