Position: Assistant Lecturers/Clinical Assistant Professors (Technology Off-Campus Degree Programs), term, non-tenure track.

Qualifications: Master's degree, at least one degree must be industry related (such as industrial technology, engineering management, industrial engineering), and at least five (5) years industrial experience or comparable teaching experience for the specific course being hired to teach. A PhD is preferred. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice/Clinical Assistant Professor if a doctoral degree is held.

Duties and Responsibilities: Teach courses in the Industrial Management and Applied Engineering degree program. Typical courses are: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, Industrial Safety, Industrial Robotics, Project Management, Leadership, Supply Chain, Cost Estimating, Facilities Planning and Manufacturing Processes. The program is conducted in a weekend format at Dover Air Force Base, DE; Little Rock Air Force Base, AR; NAVSUPPACT Mid-South Memphis, TN; Scott Air Force Base, IL; as well as at Peoria, Champaign, Joliet, Grayslake, and Chicago, IL.

Salary: $800.00 per credit hour.

Effective Date of Appointment: Depending on the course scheduled to be taught over the two-year program.
