Position/Rank: One Lecturer position in the Department of Zoology, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, 9-month, term, 100% non-tenure track appointment.

Appointment Date: 16 August 2018


  1. PhD in Zoology, Biology, Wildlife Ecology, or related discipline
  2. Teaching experience in biology at the college level as instructor of record
  3. Evidence of teaching effectiveness
  4. Teaching competence in conservation biology, wildlife ecology, conservation of natural resources, wildlife administration & policy at the undergraduate and graduate level
  5. A record of scholarship in one or more of the disciplines listed above


  1. Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level
  2. Serve as faculty mentor to undergraduate Zoology majors
  3. Participate in development of online course offerings
