The College of Education and Human Services invites applications for the position of Director of the School of Social Work. This is a term, Administrative/Professional position starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities: The Director serves as chief academic, administrative and fiscal officer of the School of Social Work. General responsibilities of Chairs and Directors are summarized in the following University policy statement: http://policies.siu.edu/policies/departmentchairs.php. Specific duties of the Director are articulated in the Operating Paper of the School of Social Work.

Required Qualifications: This position requires a person who holds the rank of professor with tenure and on current assignment in the School of Social Work. In addition, experience with CSWE accreditation, and demonstrated skills in providing professional and academic leadership are required. Preference will be given to persons with budgetary and grant experience.
