Assistant Professor (Radiologic Sciences)

The College of Applied Sciences and Arts (ASA) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor position within ASA's School of Allied Health's Radiologic Sciences program beginning August 16, 2019. This is a continuing, nine-month, tenure track position.

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in education, health, or a related field at time of application is required. The applicant must be registered in radiography, RT(R), with at least one of the following credentials: Radiation Therapy, MRI, CT, or Sonography. Applicants must have at least five years of professional work experience within the Radiologic Sciences arena that includes two years teaching within an accredited program. Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational and technology skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional experience working within a JRCERT accredited program that documents teaching and supervisory experience with Radiologic Science students. Doctorate degree preferred.
