POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Assistant Instructors/Lecturers (Variable-Time)
School of Architecture
Southern Illinois University Carbondale

The College of Applied Sciences and Arts (ASA) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking qualified applicants for one or more term, renewable, variable time lecturer or assistant instructor (non-tenure-track) position serving the college’s online and/or on-campus Master of Architecture programs.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have attained professional licensure as a registered architect and must hold a professional degree (B. Arch, M. Arch, and D. Arch.) from an NAAB-accredited college or university or equivalent. Candidates must also have a minimum of five years of professional experience and/or related university-level teaching experience. For individuals holding the B. Arch degree, appointment will be at the rank of assistant instructor.
