Position Summary: Plant, Soil and Agricultural Systems Instructor(s) to begin January 1, 2018 to teach in various areas within the department. One or more positions are available. Position is a Term, variable time Non-Tenure Track, nine-month appointment, with summer appointment possible based on curricular need and availability of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities: The instructor will teach undergraduate level courses. Needs are for an instructor(s) for 1 or more of the following; Precision Agriculture (AGSE 472), Crop Pest Control (CSEM 420), Turfgrass Management (HORT 322), Landscape Perennials (HORT 326), Landscape Annual (HORT 324), Greenhouse Management (HORT 423), Introduction to Ag Education (AGSE 110), Floriculture (HORT424), and Floral Arrangements (HORT 228). This position may include mentoring of students and/or academic service activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: M.S degree in Crop, Soil and Environmental Science, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant and Soil Science, or closely related field. Education and experience must be appropriate to teaching assignment.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in the area of interest preferred.
