Title: Instructor (Hospitality and Tourism Administration)

College: College of Agricultural Sciences-SIUC

Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching courses (face-to-face and online) within the Hospitality & Tourism Administration program in areas such as Hotel Management, Human Resources, Risk Management, and other areas related to the candidate’s background; Serve on Departmental and College committees; Outreach to the hospitality and tourism industry communities; other departmental duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: Earned Master's degree in Hospitality & Tourism or related field at time of appointment. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of managerial experience in a hospitality business. Applicants must also possess the ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and industry partners.

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have more than one year of teaching experience.
