Coordinator for Wellness Programming

The SIU Student Health Center is seeking qualified applicants for two Coordinators for Wellness Programming in Health Promotion, Wellness, and Prevention Services. These are 12-month, full-time appointments.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in health education, health promotion, public health, community health, health policy, or closely related field and two years full-time professional health promotion/wellness experience required, or Master’s degree in health education, health promotion, public health, community health, health policy, or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Violence Prevention, Alcohol, and Other Drug, or background in Mental Health experience, experience in a higher education setting.

Before any offer of employment is made, the university will conduct a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a criminal background check.

Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for health promotion/wellness activities including development of evidence-based health promotion/wellness programming, implementation and delivery of programs using multiple platforms, evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness and impact of programming. This position will work collaboratively with multiple campus community partners and constituencies to achieve programming goals.
